Who the hell am I?

I’m a writer with a camera and an obsession with the great human comedy. My background is in literature, creative writing, and dramatic arts - which means I read people for a living and say it better than they can.

I started out on stage and in front of the camera, before finding my creative home behind the scenes: writing, shooting, overthinking everything. As a copywriter, I’ve helped brands across tech, tourism, fashion, food and entertainment sound less boring - and more like humans.

As a journalist, I’ve covered film, pop culture, and social commentary (including bylines in British media) - with a soft spot for black comedy, satire, and anything that lets me roast gently and think deeply. I’ll happily write outside that zone too, assuming the rate is right and the brief doesn’t involve crypto bros or cult recruitment ads.

Photography is how I speak when I run out of words. I’ve published photo essays that capture the surreal weirdness of real life - and I shoot street photography because the circus is out there, and they haven’t started charging yet. One of my images was recently featured in PhotoVogue, which felt like a quiet nod from the cool table.

Words are my medium. People are my obsession. I turn both into punchlines, headlines, and the occasional identity crisis.
